When Toshiba conducted an exclusive black tie event at the London Savoy Hotel, to launch their new products and reward their most valued clients, Market Makers were asked to conduct a telemarketing campaign in coordination with the event. With companies like Currys, Amazon and PC World invited, Toshiba required Market Makers to successfully liaise with senior management at these companies, to effectively promote Toshiba’s event, promote their new products and secure each client’s attendance.

What made you choose Market Makers to manage your telemarketing campaign?

We required a telemarketing company that could literally hit the ground running with our campaign, and produce results from the beginning. Not only that, but we also wanted senior partners and directors to be contacted, so we needed to work with a company that conducted themselves with a level of professionalism accordingly. Having worked with major blue chip corporations in the past, Market Makers understood from the beginning the tone and conduct with which we wanted the campaign to be conducted. They provided a comprehensive proposal detailing the structure of our campaign, and offered me the opportunity to listen to some of their staff, as proof of their quality of service. Choosing to work with Market Makers over the competition was a very easy decision.

Were/Are you happy with the level of service you received?

Yes, very. Every one of the campaign objectives were achieved within the timescale stated. But what impressed me most was the quality of the leads that were generated. Market Makers’ Quality Assurance team checked every lead for the criteria we required before they were passed over to us, so I did not receive a single lead that was questionable at any point of the campaign.

How did you hear about Market Makers?

I was doing a search on the internet and found the company. I was impressed with the website and it met the criteria for a supplier we had, and so I decided to give them a call to talk in more detail.

What did you require from Market Makers?

We needed a cost effective way to contact a large volume of small potential customers for our branches around the UK. We needed to enhance the effectiveness of other media, such as direct mail, by delivering an integrated approach. This had previously been done in house by operational staff but was not cost-effective or delivering the required results. The project was for the specialist glazing division of Pilkington and the potential customers were builders and building owners in the local areas. We were looking to do a small trial campaign for two key customer areas and we needed a company that could provide this service and generate the maximum return on the investment.

What did Market Makers do for you?

At present, Market Makers are calling large and small building companies, restaurants and hotels using data we had purchased and supplied to them for two branches. The results have far exceeded the expectations we had for the project as well as the cost/benefit projections outlined in the business case for running the project.

Would you recommend Market Makers?

Absolutely. The service we have received from Market Makers has been extremely impressive. They were thorough and professional at all stages and have delivered higher than expected results. We trialled two other companies at the same time as Market Makers for other branches and the results clearly show Market Makers were superior.
